Support Options

Registered owners of SKY Software products may receive free support through several methods. The available methods are described below.


How To Get Support Through The Internet

You can find answers to frequently asked questions/problems to our products through the Internet. To access this free information through the Internet do the following:

  1. Visit to our web page at http://www.sky-software.com
  2. Click on the hyperlink to our Support Page (this page).
  3. Click on the hyperlink to our FAQ's Page.
  4. Click on the hyperlink for the product you need help with.

How To Get Support Through Email

To receive support through email send the following to: support@sky-software.com

  1. The name and version of the product you need support for.
  2. Your product registration number (usually on the inside front cover of your manual).
  3. Your full name, address and phone number.
  4. A description of the problem you are having.
  5. Send the email to support@sky-software.com

How To Get Support By Phone

All owners of SKY Software programs are entitled to 90 days of free phone support. Your 90 days of support starts on the first day you call for support. Phone support is available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm EST. To receive phone support please have the following ready when you call (540) 751-4336:

  1. The name and version of the product you need support for.
  2. Your product registration number (usually on the inside front cover of your manual).
  3. A description of the problem you are having.
  4. Please be seated at your computer so that you can perform requested actions.

NOTE: Owner's of SKY Index Professional Edition, who live in the contiguous United States, may call toll free (during normal business hours) at 800-776-0137 for the first 90 days of ownership. After the first 90 days, you may receive free support by calling (540) 751-4336.


Online Services

There are several online services that may help you find answers to your questions. Online services are free and are generally available 24 hours a day and can be very useful when other support options are unavailable or have not helped you find your answers.

SKY Index Professional Wiki

You can see tips posted by SKY Index owners and even add your own tips by visiting the SKY Index Professional Wiki.

SKYIndexUsers Group

The SKYIndexUsers group is an online community of indexers that use or wish to learn about SKY Index. There are many knowledgable indexers on this list and they are happy to assist new indexers who are just starting to get to know there indexing software.
