International Characters

Entering international characters using SKY Index Professional

SKY Index supports many of the same keyboard shortcuts that Microsoft Word supports for entering characters with diacritical marks. Below is a list of the shortcuts that work within SKY Index Professional.

The following keyboard shortcuts have been tested under Windows XP with SKY Index and are known to work.

Example: Press Ctrl+` and then press the letter o to get 'ò'.

CTRL+` (ACCENT GRAVE), the letter
à, è, ì, ò, ù
À, È, Ì, Ò, Ù

CTRL+' (APOSTROPHE), the letter
á, é, í, ó, ú
Á, É, Í, Ó, Ú

CTRL+SHIFT+^ (CARET), the letter
â, ê, î, ô, û
