With SKY Index Professional you can define short 1 to 4 letter
acronyms that will be easily expanded into lengthy text of up to 255 characters.
If you define an acronym in SKY Index Professional and then type that acronym as
part of an index entry the acronym will be automatically expanded into its full
definition.

You can now have an
unlimited number of acronyms.

You can now expand an
acronym by pressing period (.). This will expand the
acronym without placing a trailing space after it. In
that way, you can have an acronym 'p' for 'print' and be
able to create 'printer' or 'printing' by typing p.er or p.ing.

Acronyms can be
imported and exported independently of other index
options.

A list of your
acronyms can now be printed.
