SKY Index for UC Berkeley Students

University of California, Berkeley students can download the SKY Index demo program for use with class assignments from this webpage. Click the link below to download the SKY Index Professional demo which also includes the User's Guide in PDF format. The total size of the download is approximately 17 MB. The demo version of SKY Index retains most of the features of the Professional Edition. Some of the more notable differences are:

  • You can enter a maximum of 500 records

  • The spellchecker is disabled

System Requirements

This program requires Windows 7 or Windows 10. If your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the operating system that is installed, it also meets the requirements of SKY Index for random access memory (RAM). You should have at least 60 MB of free disk space prior to installation. Microsoft Word is recommended, but not required.
