SKY Index Pro v5.1 SP1
This service pack addresses a compatibility issue with the Windows 2000
and Windows XP operating systems. It also fixes several other issues listed
below.
You
must have the SKY Index Professional v5.1 "Final Release
Diskette" in order to install this service pack. If you purchased SKY
Index Professional on or after January 1st, 2000, your program probably came with
this disk. If you are not certain if you have the Final Release Disk,
simply check to see that the modified date of the SETUP.EXE file on your
program installation disk is 12/03/1999. If it is not, you will need to
order the Final Release Disk. It cannot be downloaded.

Download the file sip51sp1.exe
to the folder of your choice on your computer. After downloading double
click the sip51sp1 icon and follow the on-screen instructions to install
the service pack.
You may want to copy this file to a
floppy should you need to apply it again sometime in the
future.

Issues fixed in Service Pack 1

Under Windows 2000 and Windows
XP, cutting
and pasting of records and associated internal functions failed with
an error message indicating that a particular file could not be found.
The program closed after this error.

Import of MACREX .MBK files
has been improved

Export of MACREX .MBK format
files has been improved.

Import of CINDEX .DAT files
has been improved.

Sorting issues with certain
characters including single quotes has been resolved when using the
"Letter-by-letter (CMS)" sorting method.

When using the All Caps and
Bold attributes from the Index Options Font tab, formatting codes were
revealed rather than translated. This no longer happens.
