Updated SKY Index Professional Demo

The SKY Index Professional demo has been updated. The following features have been added since the initial release of SKY Index v5.1:

AutoCaps – AutoCaps will now capitalize words that are enclosed in quotes, parenthesis, brackets, curly braces or after the commercial at sign (@).

AutoEntry (Professional Edition Only) – You can now refresh/update the AutoEntry list. This clears the list and recreates it by reading all current index entries. This is useful if you have made many spelling errors during data entry or if you are updating an existing index that does not already have an AutoEntry list.

AutoMaiden Name Entries – You can now process entries that have been edited rather than only new entries.

Cross-references (Professional Edition Only) – You may now have different formatting for cross-references from subheadings than from the main heading.

Data Entry – Left and Right Quotes (Available from the Format menu).

Formatting Replaces Page Field Contents – Normally pressing Ctrl+I would apply italic formatting to the existing contents of the Page field. With this option enabled, the contents of the page field would be deleted and the start codes for italics would be added.

Goto Record (Professional Edition Only) – Allows you to go to a specific record (for use with proofing report).

Initiate Edit Mode (Alt+F2) – puts the grid into edit mode. If the grid was already in edit mode, it stays in edit mode. This is most useful for macros.

Locators – Page Reference Separator; Chicago 2 Page run style.

Locators (Professional Edition Only) – You can now abbreviate page ranges during data entry. For instance, you can enter II:C.104 - II:C.107 as simply: II:C.104 - 7.

Output Format – Two new presets have been added: RTF (Spaces) and RTF (Tabs).

Pattern Matching (Professional Edition Only) – Pattern matching has been significantly enhanced and now includes a pattern group feature.

Promote (Professional Edition Only) – A subheading can be promoted by pressing <Backspace> if the grid is in View Mode.

Proofing Report (Professional Edition Only) – Now includes record numbers.

Return to Last Edited Record (Shift+F4) – Allows you to return to the last edited record after performing a function that adds a new record(s) to the index. (Works in Sorted View only.)

Select Entry (Ctrl+Space) – Selects all records that have the same main, sub1, sub2 and sub3 as the current record.

Small Caps (Professional Edition Only) – Support for Small Caps has been added.

Sorting – Two new sorting methods Word-by-word (CMS) and Letter-by-letter (CMS). CMS = Chicago Manual of Style.

Translation Table (Professional Edition Only) – Allows abbreviating repeated text in locators and the use of reserved characters.

Word Processor (Professional Edition Only) – A Preset for WordPerfect 8.0 has been added.

Date Sorting (Professional Edition Only) – SKY Index allows you to specify how dates will be sorted giving the indexer total control over date sorting. This feature negates any potential Y2K problems.

Named Groups (Professional Edition Only) – Allows you to define up to 9 groups that can be named and are saved with the index so that you don't have to reenter them each time you want to use them.

Generate (Professional Edition Only) - SKY Index can now generate a subset (group) of the index.

Save As (Professional Edition Only) - Allows you to save only the records in a group when saving the index. This allows you to save a subset of the index.
